Look inside

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

Trends and fads can be very lucrative to anyone looking to make money, especially if you get in front of them before the masses catch on. Yet so many people miss the opportunities to capitalize, and once missed people often find themselves at the starting point looking for the next “great opportunity” all over again. Usually the time to buy into that good company with a great product, is way before CNBC reports it!

The whole world is in search of the next big trend. People are constantly following the wagon, instead of driving their own. Build your confidence and become the next sought after trend everyone including yourself is in search of! Become the commodity, new invention, hot stock pick, and huge payday, you greatly desire.

When you hear of the success of another person, it’s not a green light for you to follow them and abandon your ship. What are your visions? Your visions aren’t for anyone else, just as someone’s vision is not for you. Just because you know of someone who is having a lot of success in a particular field it doesn’t mean you will perform the same. We all love the idea of working a business with other people sharing in the same vision, but it rarely happens that way. People rarely pioneer, yet love to follow. You have to look inside, belief in yourself, then people will follow you.

If I have friends that are very successful in real estate does that mean the same will happen for me? It could be a great indicator that I will get some insight on how to get things done, yet it doesn’t mean I will perform the same as my peers. Everything is not meant for you! You weren’t made to become the second person to reach the top of Mt.Everest, you were made the to be the first person who __________________ (fill in your blank). Even if the closest people to you don’t support your vision, forget them. Look inside, build your confidence, and set off on your journey.

Everything worth having is worth working for! The journey to success starts with one step at a time. There will be a lot of endless nights and stressful days. Hunger pains and headaches. Days of doubt and nights of frustration. But continue to push forward until you get a breakthrough. The road isn’t easier, yet its much more fulfilling!

Action: Stay away from get rich quick ideas. Your big break is within you!

Success… is UP to YOU!

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008

Whether you are offering a product, service, or your talents. Your success is up to you! I’ve heard someone say ” You have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable in order to live comfortable”.

I was told to draw a circle and write inside the circle everything that I’m comfortable with doing to become successful. Next I was told to write everything that I’m not comfortable with doing ,or write down what someone ( who is already successful in your field) has done, that you feel uncomfortable doing outside of the circle.

Remember : Be totally honest with yourself , so you are able to get a clear picture of what is needed for you to succeed!

Everything that you’re uncomfortable doing, challenge yourself to do it. By not challenging yourself you’re sabotaging your own growth. You put yourself in an imaginary box called “MY LIMITATIONS”. It’s like telling yourself I want to change the world, yet you are uncomfortable around people. Changing the world is not going to happen! In order to be successful you have to give up somethings about you that conflicts with being successful. If you were ready made for success, you would already be there! So start dropping the loser in you, and let the winner in you totally SHINE! The great thing about success isn’t just getting there, it’s the journey on your way there!

What are you willing to pick up and leave by the roadside on your cross country journey? There is no way your car will ever get to “Success land” without your “Positive Petro” or your “Goal Map”.

Believe in your greatness and embrace your uniqueness!

Added help is great yet don’t rely on anyone driving you to the promise land, sometimes you have to be willing to walk!

Action: Draw your circle. Inside of it write what’s comfortable, and outside of it write what is uncomfortable for you. Challenge yourself to make the uncomfortable, comfortable!
