		<description>I absolutely had to settle into deep thought with this one.

I appreciate the entire sentiment, as I have been contemplating questions regarding loyalty to friendships..benefits of, detriments of..etc..

I'd say there's one sentence I will disagree with and that's "heir opinions matter and their advice is valued. (At least it should be)" 

It's the 'should be' part. Sometimes, upon closer evaluation, we may find that our closest friends, are not healthy friends, therefore, heeding teir opinions could prove to be harmful in various ways.

'Loyalty' to friendships can be damaging if we have chosen unheakthy relationships in our lives.
