How do you respond?
How do you respond when a person says, hi or good morning. Why? Because people respond to your energy and enthusiasm. People are listening to every word you say.
1.Good morning how are you doing?
I’m Great! How are you?
2.Good morning how are you doing?
Ahh… tired it’s raining outside, but I’m here.
Who would you respond to? Which person would you engage in a conversation with? The person that’s great or the person who wishes he/she was still in his/her bed! The person that feels great of course. Why? Because his/her energy makes a difference in your day. The words you say , the energy you project carries an emotional feeling within it.
Try it! Ask 10 people how are you or good afternoon, and notice what type of response you get. You can take it a step further and change the mood of the conversation by either raising your energy if they are low, or lowering your energy if the are animated. Notice how your energy will change the mood of the conversation.
Your words have power?
Within a few seconds you are able to know what type of person you are dealing with and what type of mood they’re in. All from their opening statements to you. Don’t be a person who just talks to talks, everything you say should be meaningful to you. If you create the habit of pointless babbling, you will also create the habit pointless thinking! Your mind and tongue work together, add powerful teachings and thoughts to your mind and you will convey power, sureness and confidence when you speak to others. Your mind is a great tool and your mouth is it’s greatest outlet. Use these great tools to your advantage everyday. Remember your words are able to make others believe in you, follow and help you. Make sure you are weeding out the thoughts and words that are making people do the exact opposite.
