Spostareduro,
I totally agree with you! It was the things and activities that I realized weren't apart of me, that made me realize who I was. Then conviction was born!!!

i learned more about who i was after i learned more about who i wasn't.

it has taken a great deal of trial and error and will continue to do so as the years roll by. but at least during the second half of my life, i will have given myself to what i feel will create positive change along the way, for myself and others if possible.

if it is only a dream, it is one that is worth dreaming.

Issac

How many things have you tried before you found out who you were? Did you take risk to discover yourself and find your passion? It's very clear to me a lot of people never listen to the voice inside of them. They're moves are made because they feel it's the "normal thing to do". Ultimately finding no happiness and years of regret. My question to you is, how did you find out who you were?

Very true. Fortunately or unfortunately I have some personal experience with this topic. Sometimes it's really good stuff that I was doing. We can't do our best or have the same level of passion if we don't understand our unique role. Some things just fit and some things just don't. I am much more passionate and happy now that I know more clearly who I am.

If you don't fill your time with empowering, meaningful activities, someone else will fill your life with THEIR meaningful and empowering activities. Take your pick - it's that easy. Either you have the discipline to shut these people out, and be the master of your time, or you don't. Sure, there are things in life called obligations (taxes, maybe a full-time job) but there is ALWAYS a way to find an empowering meaning. Always. The only reason you're settling in your life is because you WANT to. The action is too painful, the benefits of empowerment aren't clear enough to you, it's easier to stay where you are.
