Subconsciously Successful

Believe it or not most people don’t understand why writing your goals down is so crucial to your success. With your goals you want to commit them to memory until you are subconsciously acting on them. Everything that you do on a daily basis has been a habit formed by your subconscious.

Don’t believe me? Document your days. For five days write down everything that you do on a daily basis and the times they are done. You will see a pattern in your behavior. Are you satisfied with your outcome? Are you happy with your current habits and the results of them? Your habits can change as well as your life, by setting goals.

It’s very hard for people to take time and read their goals because they are bombarded with so many things. The news, newspapers, radio, worrying, dealing with problems, work, families, bills, friends, and the desperate need for personal down time. Makes many people feel like there is no time to set goals much less read them on a daily basis. On the other side of the coin with all of these distractions, it’s a clear sign that direction is needed. Without goals you are like a leaf in the wind, aimlessly drifting… guided and directed by whatever life throws your way. Give yourself a blueprint, layout, and a map! Create some structure in your life write your goals and recite them throughout the day. Commit them to your memory, know them in your sleep! Recite them all day long and give them power!

Sure contractors, builders and developers know how to build houses and skyscrapers, yet they never go into a project without a plan! Where are yours?

Action: Create a plan… Write your goals!

Kenneth, I agree with you. Having goals and reviewing them everyday is what makes the difference for me in my successes. In particular working on a few systematically everyday. I’d like to know how you decide what things to work on each day.
I’ve been using Mark Joyner’s Simpleology to get me clear on what I want and prioritizing each day. http://www.NewSimpleology.com
My most successful days are when I regularly go through the 10 minute Daily Target Praxis.
Are there other free programs like this that you find beneficial?

I’d like to try Simpleology out and see what it’s all about. As far as what things do I decide to work on each day. I write a lot of things down, and I also freestyle. I ride the wave and try to let things just “flow”. I have never used a system outside of a 3×5 index card in my pocket. Until now… thanks for the link!
