Avoid the “Rat Race”!

Working from your passion, brings a whole new meaning to “WORK”. After all many people wake up day after day working for employers they can’t stand. Working in positions that is far from challenging or even interesting! Think about it, people spend most of their lives working for someone. To provide their children with better opportunities, only to have their children repeat the same cycle. When is it going to end? Don’t rely on the school system to teach your kids how to avoid the rat race! It first starts with you! If you have dreams of greatness and never act on them, how will your kids have any courage to step out on faith? The reality is they won’t! The days of job security is gone, you are your only security. Stop relying on someone to pay you weekly, a small percentage of what they think you are worth. Put your passion to work for you… start out small and continue to grow!

Action: Do a search under your passion to find other people in your field. Look at their business structure and how they are making money from your passion. Take one idea that you can do to generate income and apply it!

WOW!! “Avoid the Rat Race” confirmed an emotional response i gave to a great friend of mine yesterday. She realized she doesn’t want to conform to being a nurse. Her mothers a nurse and her daughter is far too brilliant and creative to conform or be influenced to subject herself to the families fear of becoming someone great!

I closed my emotional response to my friend yesterday by asking “How will you be remembered when you pass? A great “Ass” wiper? Or A person who lived her DREAMS?”

    Thanks Kenneth,

An encouraging article, but I would have found the heading “Improving Your Role In The Rat Race” as being more to the point of the actual message.

Being self-employed is another race indeed, but still a race - and one in which, indeed, your words of self-discipline DO apply.

    Have a good sunday. :-)

I wake up everyday thankful to be alive.
I enjoy the fulfilling day ahead of me. I have a busy schedule running 2 businesses as well as some side projects. My heart is in them all. They give me energy!
One thing about me, that I think makes a big difference, is that I am upfront and truthful.
Live every day like it may be your last and enjoy it!
